North Atlantic Services (NAS),
No-Coload Instructions
If we issue a No-Coload instruction for a specific TSP this means the port agents are not allowed to load the shipment(s) in NAS container(s) unless payment for this particular shipment has been prepaid.
An example of this type of instructions is as follows :
TO
All Port agents USA
All Port agents UK, Spain, Turkey
Good morning / Good day,
Re: NO COLOAD - prepaid cash first - instruction effective immediately for Eastbound/Westbound: SCAC
Please note we issue a no coload instruction for SCAC, Trading name, Company address.
We implement a prepaid cash first policy for this carrier. This means we would like you to send us the complete OBL and GBL information for the NAS container you want to load, so we can issue the invoice to the TSP and ask payment in our bank before NAS will give an OK to stuff and book with the shipping company.
If this procedure is not followed we will be forced to keep the origin port agent liable for the ocean charges plus a penalty of 0.10 cents per cubic ft on top of the ocean freight.
The NAS website will show the updated coload lists for the North and Med and you can download the information under ‘documents’. You can only coload the customers which are on the list.
Please send you requests to nas@gosselingroup.eu for review and let us know if you have any further questions.
Thank you all and we appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
Best regards
Patrick Vercauteren
